Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopes focus by moving the primary mirror up and down inside the optical tube assembly. They are of a catadioptric design, meaning they use both lenses and mirrors.
SCTs are first & foremost reflecting telescopes, although they use a corrector lens to remove aberrations that would otherwise result from a design based solely on Mirrors.
